Yusuf beats Ganesh to win Title

Former State Champion Yusuf Shabbir defeated Ganesh NT (384-355), in the finals of the 3rd Tamil Nadu State Ranking Tenpin Bowling Tournament which concluded at DU Bowl, Egmore, Chennai.
In the Final played based on the cumulative pinfall of two games, Ganesh finished the first game with a marginal lead of 7 pins over Yusuf (177-170). In Game 2, Yusuf came back strongly with a score of 178 and thereby falling short by a cumulative pinfall margin of 29 pins.
Earlier in the day, in the first Semi-Final played based on the cumulative pinfall of two games, Top seed Yusuf Shabbir defeated fourth seed Akramullah Baig in the two-game knockout by a pinfall difference of 78 pins. Yusuf Shabbir came back strongly in Round 2 and Round 3 of the tournament to finish the 18 games qualifying scores at an average 187.06 (Pinfall 3367). In the second Semi-Final second seed Anand Babu played against third seed Ganesh NT. Ganesh defeated Anand (389-357) by a margin of 32 Pins and ensuring his spot in the Finals.

Tamil Film Director Rohin Venkatesan gave away the prizes to the Winners as Chief Guest for the prize distribution ceremony.
