Agent Kannayiram Teaser Review – An underplayed version of Santhanam with limited humour and good content
Agent Srivastava turned to be a super hit film in the Telugu box office, where it significantly proved that the content-driven movies are always the favourite of universal crowds. The film is now getting remade in Tamil as ‘Agent Kannayiram’ starring Santhanam in the lead role. The film is directed by Manoj Beedha and is produced by Labyrinth Films. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for this film.

The teaser has a running length of 121 seconds that clearly establishes the characterization of our protagonist –Agent Kannayiram (played by Santhanam). In the recent times, the comedian turned actor has been experimenting with some serious roles that was quite evident with Sabapathy that had humour, but to a limited extent. Apparently, this film too assures us of such an attributing factor that will feature him in a serious role laced with humour elements. Well, we need to wait and watch out for what the real premise of this film is as the makers don’t reveal much about the case that he is going to handle here.
Agent Kannayiram features Santhanam as the protagonist and Riya Suman in the female lead role. Sruthi Hariharan, Pugazh, Munishkanth, Redin Kingsley, E Ramdas, Indhumathy, Madhan Dhakshinamoorthy, and Aadhira are the others actors.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music, Theni Eashwar and Saravanan Ramasamy are handling cinematography, and Ajay is the editor.
