Prabhu Deva’s ‘Bagheera’, directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by Bharathan Pictures, has kept the sensational waves whirling among the audiences, and finally, the film is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on March 3, 2023. The leading actresses of the film are so excited about the film, and they share their experience of working on this project, especially with Prabhu Deva, one of the finest and most well-celebrated actors in our country.
Actress Gayathrie says, “This is an amazing project for me as I got an opportunity to work with a multi-faceted icon like Prabhu Deva sir. It’s a little disappointing though that Adhik Ravichandran never allowed me to dance with the master (Jokingly). Working in this movie was something like stepping out of my comfort zone. Adhik is a different breed of filmmaker, who has a unique rhythm, and a good sense of editing, which you can sense and experience during the shoot itself. I am so glad to be a part of such a wonderful team. Bagheera will be a wholesome entertainer for everyone.”
Actress Janani says, “Usually most of the films belong to a complex and intense genre, but this one is different from what I have done earlier. Prabhu Deva sir is such a gem, and working with him was like my long-run dream coming true. Although he has worked with all the big names in the Indian film industry, he was so humble and down-to-earth on the sets. When Adhik approached me, he mentioned that my role has minimal screen presence, but has lots of substance and importance. Although there are so many heroines in this film, there was no catfight. Before every shot, he would interact with me, asking for suggestions, which helped me to improvise my performance.
