GV Prakash-Bharathiraja starrer ‘Kalvan’ Background Score Recorded in Hungary
Axess Film Factory, one of the most celebrated production houses of Tamil film industry, has created a wide array of promising films. It’s upcoming film ‘Kalvan’ starring GV Prakash Kumar, Ivana and Bharathiraja in the lead roles is all gearing up for worldwide theatrical release during early 2024. While the postproduction works are progressing at rapid pace, the film’s background score has been composed and created by music director Reva with a team of promising musicians in Hungary.
Sharing the news, music director Reva says, “It’s a honour to be a part of a movie that has so many amazing talents and technicians. I thank producer Dilli Babu sir, PV Shankar and GV Prakash Kumar for giving this opportunity. Composing background score for ‘Kalvan’ was pretty challenging as the film boasts of tremendous performers like GV Prakash Kumar, Bharathiraja sir, Ivana and others. The story and its setting offered a scope to explore more on the creative aspects. Since, emotions form an intriguing part of this film, it was more challenging to deliver music that would compliment it. I am eagerly looking forward to the response of everyone for my work of background score.”
GV Prakash Kumar has played the lead character, and has composed music for the songs of ‘Kalvan’. The film is directed by leading cinematographer P.V .Shankar, and is produced by Axess Film Factory G Dilli Babu. The film’s postproduction work is nearing completion, and the makers are planning to release the film by early 2024.
It is worth mentioning that both GV Prakash and Ivana have already worked together in Bala’s ‘Nachiyar’. The others in the star cast include NAKKALITES TEAM Jenson Dhivakar, Prasanna Balachandran & Nivedita are playing prominent roles in this movie.
Dheena, G. Gnanasambandam, Vinoth Munna, and a few more actors are a part of the star cast.
