 Kumaran Cinemas K.N. Bhoominathan presents “Ganga Devi” – A Spine-Shuddery Horror Flick on the lines of Nenjam Marapathillai

‘Ganga Devi’, a chilling horror-thriller film, is brought to life by the esteemed producer K.N.Bhoominathan from the prestigious Kumaran Cinemas. The talented Milkha Selvakumar, a protege of Raghava Lawrence and known for his work in ‘Chandimuni’, is directing this spine-tingling film.

The movie revolves around a female-centric storyline, with Mahana playing the lead role and Yogi Babu portraying the titular character. It is worth mentioning that Mahana and Yogi Babu have previously collaborated in the film ‘Karumegangal Kalaigindrana’. Mahana has also gained recognition for her impressive performance in the movie ‘Varlaam Varlaam Va’.

Rishi Rithvik, known for his stellar performance in the hit movie ‘Attu’, is performing a pivotal role. The talented Nalini will be portraying a crucial character in this film, while the beloved real-life couple Aarti and Ganesh will be showcasing their comedic chemistry on screen for the first time as an onscreen couple. The antagonistic roles will be brought to life by the trio of Super Subbarayan, Motta Rajendran, and Sai Dheena.

Director Milka Selvakumar says, “The story set against the backdrops of honor killing, and our film delves into the life of a young woman on the precipice of matrimony, belonging to a distinguished Landlord family. As she steps foot into the ancestral abode, an inexplicable aura envelops her, ushering in a series of spine-chilling encounters. The enigmatic events that unfurl in the aftermath gradually unveil the secrets concealed within the walls, as the courageous girl and her family confront the ethereal spectacles lurking within the confines of their home.”

Additionally, he mentions, “Ganga Devi is a film that will follow the footsteps of Nenjam Marapathillai, infused with chilling horror and suspenseful scenes.”

The first schedule of the film’s shooting will begin at Neikarapatti near Palani on the special occasion of Tamil New Year. After this, the shooting will continue in Palakkad Palace, Courtrallam, Hyderabad and Chennai. A huge set is being erected for a song scene in Chennai.
