Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) has honoured Renowned Actor Ram Charan at Fourteenth Annual Convocation Ceremoy Chennai, India – April 13, 2024 – VISTAS proudly recognized the eminent Indian Actor, Film Producer, and Entrepreneur, Thiru Ram Charan Konidela, at its Fourteenth Annual Convocation Ceremony held at Velan Arangam, VISTAS Campus, Pallavaram, Chennai. The ceremony, which commenced at 4:00 PM, witnessed the esteemed presence of distinguished personalities from various fields.
The Chief Guest of the event, Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), delivered an inspiring address to the graduating students emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, adaptability to technological advancements, Development of Skill and the significance of contributing to the society.
A total of 4555 graduates, including under graduates, post graduates, and Ph.D. scholars, received their degrees during the convocation, with 80 Gold Medallists and 100 Ph.D. scholars receiving their degrees in person .
In recognition of their outstanding contributions in their respective fields, honorary doctoral degrees were conferred upon Dr. P. Veeramuthuvel, Project Director of Chandrayaan –3, ISRO; Thiru Ram Charan Konidela, Film Actor, Dr. GSK Velu, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Trivitron Healthcare; and Padma Shri. Sharath Kamal Achanta, Indian professional table tennis player, Chennai.
Following the Convocation, Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh, Founder- Chancellor, VISTAS and Thiru Ram Charan Konidela addressed the press, where Thiru.Ram Charan expressed expressed his gratitude for the honor bestowed upon him.
Thiru Ram Charan Konidela expressed his appreciation for the recognition, attributing his success to his collaborators, colleagues, and fans. He also extended his gratitude to Director Shankar for the opportunity to work on the upcoming film “Game Changer,” scheduled for release in September or October in five languages.
Reflecting on his family’s reaction to the honor, Thiru Ram Charan Konidela shared that his mother was pleasantly surprised, echoing his own sentiments of gratitude and astonishment.
In response to a question regarding the choice of honoring Thiru Ram Charan Konidela, Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh remarked on the actor’s immense talent and expressed confidence in his potential to achieve even greater milestones, likening him to an Oscar-worthy talent.
